Our client urgently requires a Second Engineer for their fishery protection vessel operating in the Falklands.
Position: Second Engineer
Salary: £150 daily gross including travel time
Dates: 01.05.2020 to 15.06.2020
Contract: Temp/Temp to Perm, dependant on performance
Engine power: 1400kW
Certificates required:
• Second Engineer unlimited UK CoC/CeC
• Advanced Fire Fighting
• Medical First Aid
• STCW 95 PST, FF, First Aid, PSCRB,
• ENG1
• Security Awareness & Designated Duties certificates
Skills required:
• Previous experience of working as an Engineer on a survey or FPV vessel is desirable although not essential.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
Must have up to date vaccinations, Hepatitis B and Tetanus.
The Second Engineer will need to be in self isolation for the first 14 days.
Candidates must have all required certificates and an updated CV/Application.
