Our client’s cement carrier operating in continental waters, requires a temp to perm AB/Cook to perform 1 month as an AB and 1 month as Cook. The contract would be temporary initially, with salary paid on board only. A permanent contract would be issued after a successful probationary period (minimum of 3 trips) after which the salary would then be paid 12 months of the year.
Vessel Type: Cement Carrier
Position: AB/Cook (dual role: 1 month as AB and 1 month as Cook)
Tour rotation: 2 months on, 1 month off
Trading Area: UK main land, Channel Islands & Europe
Date From: 08 August 2018 approx
End Date: 08 October 2018 approx
Contract type: Temp / Temp to Perm / Perm
Pay: during temporary contract consolidated £1,425.26 per month plus, travel and accommodation.
Certificates required:
· AB
· Cooks Certificate (compliant under MLC 2006)
· Seafarers medical (unrestricted)
· Marlins Test (min 85% desirable)
· Security Awareness / Designated Security Duties
· STCW95 Basic Training: Fire Fighting, PSCRB & PST refreshed to 2010
· STCW95 Elementary First Aid
· STCW95 Personal and Social Responsibility
· Passport with right to work in the UK
· Seamans Discharge Book
