TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Location: Head Office (with UK and foreign travel as required)
Reports To: Technical Manager
Qualifications: OOW Engineer unlimited or higher
Experience required: Time served as OOW engineer is essential, preferably on RoRos or similar vessel type.
Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday – Friday with OOHs work, as and when required.
Salary: £40,000.00 per annum

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and hold a British / EU passport or unrestricted work visa.
DUTIES:
To act under the direction of the Technical Superintendent or Technical Manager in the conduct of technical related project work and programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To assist with all aspects of any technical related projects, from the planning stage through research, development, implementation and monitoring stages, as directed by the Technical Superintendent and/or Technical Manager.
• To produce reports and analysis on scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
• Provide technical assistance and advice to the vessels
• Help to maintain plan maintenance
• Liaise with flag state regarding technical matters
• General technical administration tasks
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITES:
• Attend conferences, seminars, departmental and inter-department meetings as may be required.
• Perform other duties as designated by the Technical Manager or Technical Superintendent from time to time.
