Certificates required:
1. OOW Unlimited or higher (UK CoC / CEC)
2. ENG1 (Unrestricted) or Equivalent
3. Oil DCE or National Oil Tanker Endorsement
4. ECDIS
5. Bridge Team Management (Preferred)
6. Proficiency in Designated Security,
7. STCW Advanced Fire Fighting, Basic Fire Fighting, Prof in survival craft, Personal Survival Techniques (Refreshed to 2010)
8. Elementary First Aid & Medical First Aid
9. Personal and Social Responsibility
10. GMDSS
11. Marlins Test & CES test (EU Citizens only) Minimum of 85%
12. Valid Passport
13. Discharge Book
Candidates are required to;
- Hold all of the above documentation
- At least 6 MONTHS experience on tankers
- A minimum of ONE (1) YEAR in rank
- Ideally holding either ECDIS KELVIN HUGHES or ECDIS TRANSAS 4000
